Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant Required in Wimbledon

About the role

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Wimbledon from mid-October 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children during a key stage of their development.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting children across the Early Years setting
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Supporting learning through play and structured activities
• Helping children develop their communication, social and independence skills
• Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom
• Creating a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment

The ideal applicant will have:

• A Level 3 Early Years or relevant childcare qualification
• Experience working with Early Years-aged children
• A good understanding of the EYFS
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Creativity and the ability to engage young children in their learning
