Year 5 Class Teacher Required – February Half-Term Start

About the role

At Engage Education, we are currently looking for a Year 5 Class Teacher to join a successful and supportive primary school from February half term.

This is a full-time teaching position with responsibility for a Year 5 class. You will be joining an established team in a positive, nurturing environment where both pupils and staff are supported to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging, well-planned lessons and maintain high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour.

The role will include the full responsibilities you would expect from a permanent class teacher, including planning, assessment, parents’ evenings, staff meetings and contributing to the wider life of the school.

ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS
• Confident teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 5 experience
• Able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons
• Committed to maintaining high expectations for behaviour and attainment
• Passionate about supporting children to make strong academic and personal progress
• A positive and reliable member of the wider school team
