Welcome to iday
Partner with Engage Education for one of our upcoming iday events and save time and resources by matching your teaching vacancies with pre-screened candidates, allowing you to find and interview potential staff all on one day, in one place.
How does iday work for schools?
iday is the only opportunity for schools to meet teachers from all over the world on one day, in one place. With iday, there’s no need for awkward phone interviews – you can meet all of our vetted, pre-screened teachers face-to-face.
Within a week, you can fill all of your vacant teaching positions. Engage does all the work, so you can concentrate on getting the best teachers for your school.
iday week structure
Monday
On the first day of the week, you’ll make initial contact with teachers from the UK and across the world, including from Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and Canada. These teachers are selected to interview with your school based on their skills and your requirements. You will hold interviews with the teachers to check that they are a good fit for your needs and that your goals are aligned.
iday is held at fantastic locations around the country, and refreshments and networking opportunities are provided throughout the day.
Tuesday
The following day, you’ll receive feedback from your preferred candidates, and candidates will receive feedback from their chosen schools. We will use this information to highlight matches and arrange for these teachers to deliver a taster lesson at your school in the following days.
You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions of us, and your consultant will ensure you have everything you need to arrange for the taster lesson(s) to be conducted the following day.
Wednesday and/or Thursday
The following days you will meet the teachers again to observe them while they deliver a taster lesson at your school. You will also have the opportunity to conduct a more in-depth interview with the teachers at this point. As always, your Engage consultant will be available at all times to assist you with any questions or information you require.
By the end of the school day, you’ll be ready to make an offer to your chosen teachers, who will be available to start at the agreed date.
