Teachers looking for work

We’ve helped 102,437 educators find work. Now it’s your turn.

Whether it’s daily supply you’re looking for, or something more long-term, we work with 2,286 schools across the UK, giving you plenty of options to fit your lifestyle and career plan.

So go ahead and apply for the vacancy that catches your eye. Or simply register with Engage today and one of our dedicated consultants will work with you to locate your ideal position.

Some common questions we get asked:

What areas can I find a job in with Engage?

We operate across London, the Home Counties, the East Midlands, East Anglia and Leeds

What type of schools can I work in?

We work with a range of institutions; from Early Years Nursery, Primary, Secondary, Independent, Faith, Specialist, Private, Academies, Colleges, PRUs and more. You can rest assured if you have a preference, we’ll have it covered.

What other benefits do I get from Engage?

No matter the route you choose, you’ll receive benefits from professional CPD and skills development, dedicated support and referral bonuses.

What qualifications do I need?

QTS is normally required in order to take up a teaching post in any of the following settings in England and Wales.

If you don’t have QTS right now you can still get a job in a UK school. Schools in the UK understand that teachers who were trained in other countries can offer a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience to their students.

If you trained to teach in Australia, the USA, Canada or New Zealand, you can apply for QTS here in the UK. This can be done online or by post, and if your application is approved you will be issued with documentation confirming QTS.

In addition, schools now have more freedom than in previous years to employ unqualified teachers. Unqualified teachers may choose to apply for QTS based on existing qualifications and experience, or work towards QTS while they are practicing, depending on their circumstances.
