Year 1 Teacher Required for Primary School in Mitcham
About the role:
At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for a Year 1 teacher to work full-time at a successful primary school in Mitcham, starting within the next couple of weeks.
This is a full-class responsibility role, and the successful teacher will take responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment within Year 1. The role will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale.
You will become part of an enthusiastic and supportive team, working in a nurturing school environment committed to helping both pupils and staff achieve their full potential.

The ideal applicant will be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experienced in teaching KS1, ideally within Year 1
- Confident taking full class responsibility
- Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
- A strong classroom practitioner with a genuine passion for teaching
- Able to inspire, engage and support pupils of different abilities
