Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant Required – Mitcham
About the role:

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to work full-time at a welcoming primary school in Mitcham, starting in early October.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Early Years experience who enjoys supporting young children with their learning, development and confidence in a nurturing nursery environment.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting children across the Nursery setting
- Working with small groups of pupils
- Providing targeted intervention support
- Supporting individual children on a 1:1 basis where required
- Helping to plan and deliver engaging Early Years activities
- Supporting children’s communication, social and emotional development
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team
The ideal applicant will have:
- A Level 3 Early Years, Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working with Nursery or Early Years children
- A good understanding of the EYFS
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- A creative, positive and proactive approach
- The ability to work well as part of a team
