Reception Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support – Wimbledon

About the role:

At Engage Education, we are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil at a fantastic Primary School in Wimbledon.

This is a full-time position starting in early October.

The school has a supportive and welcoming team and is looking for someone who can build a strong relationship with the pupil, support their individual needs and help them access learning within the Reception classroom.

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Early Years practitioner or graduate who is passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their education.

The ideal candidate has:

• Experience working with children, ideally within Reception or Early Years
• Experience providing 1:1 support would be beneficial
• A patient, caring and positive approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Confidence supporting learning, development and behaviour
• A genuine interest in working with children with additional needs
