We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school located in the London Borough of Haringey who are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Religious Education Teacher to join their team from September 2026 through to July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about Religious Education and committed to supporting students to think critically about faith, ethics, philosophy, and the wider world.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought provoking RE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be expected to plan and deliver high quality lessons, assess pupil progress effectively, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4

• Plan and deliver well structured and inclusive lessons

• Assess, track, and report on student progress

• Promote critical thinking, respect, and cultural understanding

• Support the school’s ethos and behaviour expectations

• Contribute to departmental planning and development

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education or Theology

• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable

• Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities

• Strong classroom management skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Contract Details

• Full time teaching position
