Science Teacher – Secondary School (Haringey)
September 2026 – July 2027 (Full Academic Year)
I am currently working with a well-established secondary school in Haringey that is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026 through to July 2027. This is a full-time, long-term position, suitable for a qualified teacher with a strong subject background in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
The school has a supportive Science department with clear schemes of work, good facilities, and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. The role will involve teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on specialism and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with departmental expectations
Support students of all abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes
Contribute to maintaining a positive and focused learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism
Effective classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
