SEND Teaching Assistant – Beddington, Sutton (KS1)

Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, starting May

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Beddington, Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils in a KS1 class, supporting children with additional needs to access learning and thrive in the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups within a KS1 setting
• Assisting the class teacher with differentiated activities tailored to individual needs
• Helping create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEND provision

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or similar setting
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff
