Finance Assistant – School in Ringmer

Engage Education are currently working with a well-regarded school in Ringmer who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their administrative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong numerical and organisational skills who is looking to work in a supportive school environment.

About the role
This is a varied position where you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the school, working closely with the finance team and wider staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing invoices, payments, and purchase orders
• Assisting with budgeting and financial reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
• Supporting payroll and expense processes
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
• Ensuring compliance with school financial procedures

This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented and confident working with financial data.

About you

• Previous experience in a finance or administrative role
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Professional and reliable approach to work
