Science Teacher

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Islington area from September. This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, providing a clear route into a long-term position within a supportive and ambitious school environment.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic practitioner who can deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on specialism and experience. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, the school welcomes candidates who are committed to inspiring curiosity and raising achievement in Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Contribute to the wider Science department and curriculum development
• Support students in developing scientific knowledge and practical skills

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge in your specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
• Excellent classroom management skills
