A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Watford is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey.

The Role

• Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Assisting with play-based learning activities both indoors and outdoors
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and communication development
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting is desirable
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting early years development
