Caretaker / Premises Assistant – School in Horsham

Engage Education are currently recruiting for a Premises Assistant to join a school site team in Horsham. This is a great opportunity for someone practical and reliable who enjoys a hands-on role.

About the role
You will support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school site, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
• Supporting site security and opening/closing duties
• Assisting with health and safety checks
• Setting up rooms and equipment for school activities
• Supporting cleaning and site upkeep where required

About you

• Practical skills and a proactive attitude
• Experience in maintenance or caretaking (desirable)
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable and able to work independently
