Level 3 EYFS Practitioner Required for Nursery / School in Mitcham
About the role
At Engage Education, we have specialised in recruiting education support staff for over a decade. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to work full-time at a welcoming nursery or primary school in Mitcham, starting in October.
You will join a supportive early years team, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting children during their crucial early development.
Your duties may include
- Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Supporting small groups and individual children
- Helping children develop their communication, social and emotional skills
- Supporting with observations, assessments and learning journeys
- Maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
The ideal applicant will have
- A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working with nursery or reception-aged children
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Creativity, energy and the ability to engage young children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
