SEN Teaching Assistant
A specialist SEN provision in the Purley area is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. The school supports pupils with a range of additional learning needs and is seeking someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about helping young people thrive.
The students have a variety of learning needs, including:
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Behavioural needs
Experience with sensory based learning approaches would be highly beneficial.
About the role
- Earn up to £500 per week
- Full-time positions available
- Supporting pupils in small groups and through targeted interventions
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs and lower ability levels
- Assisting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
- Supporting students who may display challenging behaviour
- Working closely with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
