SEN Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and supportive specialist provision in the Bexley area is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs in a nurturing and structured environment.

The students have a range of learning needs, including:

• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Behavioural needs

Experience supporting sensory-based learning and communication strategies would be highly advantageous.

About the role

• Earn up to £500 per week
• Full-time opportunities available
• Delivering small group intervention support
• Providing 1:1 assistance for pupils with additional learning needs
• Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
• Assisting pupils who may display challenging behaviour
• Helping to create a calm, engaging, and inclusive learning environment alongside teaching staff
