Maths Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and skilled Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Islington area from September. This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, providing a clear pathway to a long-term position within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. The successful applicant will be passionate about mathematics, able to inspire confidence in learners, and committed to raising attainment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
• Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum
• Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths
• Effective classroom management skills
