This position is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to secure a long-term role within a supportive school community.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic practitioner who can deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be committed to raising attainment, fostering a love of literature, and supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Contribute to the wider English department and school community
• Support students in developing strong literacy and analytical skills

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Excellent classroom management skills
