Learning Support Assistant Required for School in Croydon
About the role:
At Engage Education, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant for an outstanding Primary School in Croydon. This is a role to start ASAP.
The school has built a highly positive and supportive culture within its workforce and is committed to fostering both staff development and pupil success. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learning across the classroom, as well as leading targeted interventions and delivering phonics programmes to help raise attainment.
If you are passionate about supporting children’s learning and have experience working with phonics and intervention groups, we’d love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience supporting learning in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge or experience of delivering phonics programmes
- Confidence leading small group interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to support pupils of varying abilities
- A proactive and adaptable approach
Pay:
£14.17 – £15.50 per hour
