Drama Teacher – Secondary School (Haringey)
September 2026 – July 2027 (Full Academic Year)
I am currently working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Haringey that is seeking a creative and passionate Drama Teacher to join their team from September 2026 through to July 2027. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for a qualified teacher who can inspire students through performance, creativity, and expression.
The school has a strong commitment to the arts and offers a supportive environment with opportunities for extracurricular involvement, including school productions and performances.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 teaching depending on experience
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with departmental expectations
Encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students
Support and contribute to extracurricular activities such as school productions and drama clubs
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
