Engage Education is working in partnership with a caring and inclusive Roman Catholic primary school in Droylsden to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1.

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teaching and learning across Year 1 and Year 2
• Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading, writing and maths
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost confidence and attainment
• Help prepare engaging classroom resources and learning activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote a nurturing classroom environment
• Support children with varying learning needs, adapting your approach where required
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team to ensure every child reaches their potential
