The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Mark students’ work and provide high-quality feedback to support progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to raising attainment.
• Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Is passionate about inspiring a love of English and literature.
• Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
