We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join supportive secondary schools in Gravesham. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience and develop their skills within education.

This role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching and wanting hands-on experience managing classrooms, delivering pre-set work, and supporting pupils across a variety of subjects. Schools are looking for reliable and adaptable individuals who can build positive relationships with students and maintain a focused learning environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring pupils stay engaged with learning
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting students with questions and encouraging participation
• Assisting departments and teaching staff where required

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
• A graduate with a strong interest in education and teaching
• Confident communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional
• Passion for supporting students and helping them succeed
