About the Role:
Engage Education is seeking an experienced Assistant Headteacher for a mainstream secondary school who will take the lead of behaviour and learning across the school. This is an urgent appointment, and we are looking for a senior leader who can join as soon as possible.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven senior leadership experience in a secondary school
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation expertise
- QTS and significant teaching experience across key stages
- Ability to lead, inspire, and support multidisciplinary teams
- Experience implementing restorative approaches
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
The Role:
- Strategic leadership and oversight within a secondary environment
- Supporting the Headteacher with whole-school behaviour, safeguarding, and operational management
- Leading, coaching, and developing staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
- Driving a consistent, nurturing, and structured school culture
