We’re recruiting an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in Bradford, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities
As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Assist with literacy, numeracy and targeted interventions
- Support pupils with their classroom learning across KS3 and KS4
- Help manage classroom behaviour, engagement and participation
- Encourage positive attitudes towards learning
- Support pupils’ emotional, social and personal development
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and learning resources
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence and organisational skills
- Provide additional support to pupils who may need extra help accessing the curriculum
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff to support pupil progress

Requirements
- Commitment to completing an 11-month apprenticeship
- GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ preferred

- Reliable, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Not currently enrolled on another government-funded course
