We are looking for a passionate and committed Computer Science teacher to join the school as soon as possible on a full-time temp-to-perm basis. About the role

We are working with the school to recruit a Computer Science teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons that inspire pupils and develop their understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical computing skills.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS with a Computer Science specialism or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge across areas such as programming, algorithms, computational thinking, data and computer systems
• The ability to make complex technical concepts accessible and engaging for pupils of different abilities
• Experience of planning and delivering high-quality, well-structured lessons
• A proven track record of supporting strong pupil progress and attainment
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• The ability to use assessment effectively to identify gaps and adapt teaching
• Confidence using technology and digital resources to enhance learning
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching Computer Science
• High expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and personal development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a department and wider school team
• A genuine passion for Computer Science and a desire to inspire the next generation of digital and technology professionals
