- Support pupils with additional needs, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
- Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Help pupils develop their confidence, independence and communication skills.
- Support with classroom activities, interventions and day-to-day learning.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, providing consistent and nurturing support.
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and inclusion throughout the school.
- Gain valuable experience working within a specialist education environment while completing your qualification.

Requirements:
- Have full UK working rights
- Be committed to completing the 11-month apprenticeship programme
- Hold GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Not currently be enrolled in another government-funded course
- Have not already completed an apprenticeship or similar teaching qualification at Level 3 or above
- Have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs
