Science Teacher Required for Secondary School in Bradford

We are working with a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Bradford, which is seeking a Science Teacher to start immediately. This is a full-time, ongoing position covering a long-term sickness absence, with teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
About the role
The successful applicant will be joining a team of highly experienced and supportive teachers within a well-equipped secondary school. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, including both theory and practical work.
The school is looking for a committed teacher who can create a positive learning environment, maintain strong classroom management and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities.
This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to supporting the school throughout the sickness absence. The role is ongoing and offers the opportunity to become an integral part of the Science department.
About you
- A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification (ECTs will be considered for this role)
- Confident teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to a range of abilities
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science and education
- Confident delivering both theoretical and practical Science lessons
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments
- A desire to work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school
- Available to start immediately and commit to a full-time, ongoing role
