Teacher of MFL Required for School in Bradford
A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bradford is currently looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to join their team on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will teach a 50/50 split of French and Spanish across the timetable and will be required to start immediately.

About the role
This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-planned lessons across French and Spanish, with a timetable split approximately 50/50 between the two languages.
You will be expected to maintain strong classroom management, inspire and motivate pupils, and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of learners across different abilities. The school places a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative department and will work alongside experienced practitioners who are committed to providing a high standard of MFL education. Teachers also have access to ongoing professional development and support.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Strong subject knowledge across both languages
- A confident and effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
- Passionate about engaging pupils and supporting their progress
- Adaptable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a department
- Available to start immediately
