Are you a passionate and creative qualified Textiles Teacher looking for your next opportunity?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Textiles Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Trafford area from the start of the new academic year. This is a full-time, long-term position, teaching Textiles across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to begin your teaching journey in a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

• Full-time, long-term position starting in September.
• Teach engaging and inspiring Textiles lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons that encourage creativity and practical skills.
• Support students to achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with a welcoming and experienced Design & Technology department.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Specialism in Textiles or Design & Technology with experience teaching Textiles.
• Has excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge.
• Is passionate about inspiring young people through creative learning.
• Committed to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
• Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
