Teaching Assistant – Chichester

Engage Education is working with a supportive school in Chichester to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant for a September 2026 start.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and supporting their learning. You will play an important role in helping pupils build confidence and achieve their full potential.
About the role:
- Supporting classroom learning across the school
- Working with individual pupils and small groups
- Assisting teachers with learning activities and classroom preparation
- Supporting literacy, numeracy, and intervention programmes
- Helping pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development
About you:
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Friendly, patient, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Willingness to learn and develop within an education setting
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Previous education, childcare, or youth work experience is beneficial
