Teaching Assistant – Littlehampton
Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Engage Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Littlehampton from September 2026.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping children succeed and wants to make a real difference in the classroom. You will work alongside experienced teachers to support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the role:
- Supporting learning across a range of year groups
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assisting with classroom organisation and lesson resources
- Helping pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout lessons
- Supporting children with different learning styles and abilities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
- Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
About you:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Positive, caring, and patient approach
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of pupils
- Passion for supporting children’s education and development
- Previous experience in education or childcare is advantageous
