Learning Support Assistant Required for a Friendly Primary School in Croydon

About the role:
At Engage Education, we’re on the lookout for a warm, proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Croydon. This is a role to start ASAP, perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thinking on their feet, and making a real difference in the classroom (no two days are ever quite the same, which keeps things interesting).

This school has a genuinely community feel, with a diverse mix of pupils and a team that pulls together when it matters. There’s a big focus on creating an inclusive environment where every child feels supported, encouraged, and occasionally celebrated for the small wins that make a big difference. You’ll be working closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of needs, helping them stay engaged, confident, and on track.

The ideal candidate has:
Experience supporting children in a school or similar setting
A calm, patient approach (with a good sense of humour definitely a bonus)
Confidence working one-to-one and in small groups
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
A flexible mindset and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
