SEND Teaching Assistant – School in Sutton

I am currently working with a lovely school in Sutton who are urgently seeking Teaching Assistants to support their pupils to start immediately.

About the role

• ASC (verbal and non-verbal)
• Learning difficulties
• Complex needs

We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with students with severe ASC and profound, multiple learning difficulties and are enthusiastic about raising the attainment of their pupils. The setting is well-resourced and highly supportive, with a strong focus on tailored learning and therapeutic approaches.

You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. Working with Theatre in Education (TIE) or workshops with children are beneficial. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs. Experience working within structured environments and alongside multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
