Primary Supply Teacher Required for Schools in Merton & Sutton – September 2026 Start

About the role:
At Engage Education, we are currently looking for flexible and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to support a range of fantastic primary schools across Merton and Sutton. This is for daily supply work, starting September 2026.

You will be covering classes on an ad-hoc basis, with opportunities across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 (you do not need to cover all key stages). We work hard to keep travel distances as low as possible, placing you in schools local to you.

We have strong partnerships with a large number of schools in the area and are looking to bring in additional teachers to help support increasing demand from September.

This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, variety, or a better work-life balance, while still gaining valuable classroom experience.

The ideal candidate has:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability across different year groups
• A positive and proactive attitude
