Reception Teaching Assistant Required for School in Sutton
About the role:
At Engage Education, we are currently looking for a dedicated and nurturing Reception Teaching Assistant for a fantastic Primary School in Sutton. This is a role to start ASAP.
The position involves providing 1:1 support to a pupil within a Reception class, helping them to access learning and develop both academically and socially. The working pattern is Monday morning, Tuesday and Wednesday full days, Thursday morning, and Friday full day.
The school has built a supportive and welcoming team and places a strong focus on early years development, ensuring every child has the best possible start to their education. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners on an individual basis.
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience working within Early Years or a Reception setting
- Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
