Wraparound Assistant Required – School in Eltham (South East London)

About the role:

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Wraparound Assistant to work at a fantastic primary school in Eltham, supporting pupils from Nursery through to Year 6.

This role involves supervising and engaging children during before- and after-school provision, helping to create a safe, fun, and structured environment at the beginning and end of the school day.

Working hours:
7:15am – 8:45am
3:00pm – 6:00pm

This totals 4.5 hours per day. 

Our Wraparound Assistants’ duties can include:

• Supervising pupils across different age groups (Nursery to Year 6)
• Leading and supporting play-based and creative activities
• Ensuring a safe and positive environment before and after school
• Supporting children’s social development and positive behaviour
• Assisting with transitions between home and school

The ideal applicant will have:

• Some experience working with children or in a school setting
• A real passion for supporting and engaging young people
• A proactive, reliable, and energetic approach
• Creativity in planning fun and stimulating activities
• A Level 3 support staff qualification (essential)
• A welcoming and supportive primary school in Eltham
• Strong leadership team and positive working environment
• A diverse and engaging pupil community
