Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant – Central Bradford
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in central Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
- Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and targeted interventions
- Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme
- Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement personalised support strategies
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a secondary school or educational setting
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
- Experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs would be advantageous
