The Role

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Teaching English Language and Literature to a high standard
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contributing to the wider English department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
