This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real impact in a key stage where pupils consolidate their early learning and prepare for end of KS1 assessments.

The Role

• Full class teacher responsibility for a Year 2 class
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum
• Preparing pupils for end of KS1 assessments (SATs)
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Committed to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement
• Organised, proactive and passionate about early learning
