Part Time Year 6 Teacher 

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September
Contract: Part-Time (2–3 Days Per Week)
Salary: MPS / UPS (pro rata, dependent on experience)

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a motivated Year 6 class and help pupils prepare for a successful transition to secondary school.

The Role

• Teaching a Year 6 class on a part-time basis
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Supporting pupils in preparation for SATs and secondary transition
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential
• Organised, adaptable and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
