Engage Education is recruiting an Apprentice SEN Teaching Assistant to join the thriving SEN team at a vibrant, large 2-form entry primary school in Blackley.
This is a dedicated 11-month apprenticeship programme. We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual who is fully committed to signing the learning agreement and completing the full 11-month journey to gain their Level 3 qualification.

Key Responsibilities
Working directly within the school’s SEN team across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs (including Autism, ADHD, communication needs, and physical/learning difficulties)
- Assist pupils with tailored learning activities, speech & language targets, and sensory breaks
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development in a safe, nurturing environment
- Assist class teachers and the SENCo with resource preparation and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Help encourage positive behaviour and promote independence in classroom activities

Requirements:
- Commitment: Strong dedication to completing the full 11-month learning agreement and apprenticeship course
- Mindset: Patient, nurturing, reliable, and passionate about supporting children with SEN
- Academics: GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ (or equivalent) preferred
- Eligibility: Not currently enrolled in another government-funded course
