Secondary Food Technology Teacher Required for School in Bradford

A successful and ambitious secondary school in Bradford is currently looking for a creative and dedicated Food Technology Teacher who is committed to improving student progress, attainment, and engagement. About the role

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position starting in September 2026. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, and creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.

The school is committed to developing confident, resilient, and well-rounded young people through a broad and balanced curriculum. As such, they are seeking a dynamic teacher who can adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities and inspire a passion for food, nutrition, and practical skills.

This role offers the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate

• Extensive experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level
• Strong classroom teaching background with excellent subject knowledge
• Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Available for interview and observation
• Committed and proactive in engaging and motivating students
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about raising attainment and supporting student progress
