English Teacher – Bradford

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful and inclusive secondary school in the Bradford area. We are currently seeking a Teacher of English who can teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, starting in September, on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis.

About the role

This is a full-time, long-term position teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will join a supportive and well-established English department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of literature and language while helping students achieve their full potential.

About you

• Have the ability to build strong relationships with young people and experience supporting and motivating students
• Have experience teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Have a proven track record of raising pupil attainment and progress
• Be passionate about English and committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to the lives of the students you teach
