We are working with a supportive and welcoming secondary school in the Bradford area, which is seeking a passionate and committed Humanities Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team. About the role

The successful applicant will join an experienced and supportive teaching team within a well-resourced school environment. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to explore history, society, culture and the wider world.

About you

The ideal Humanities Teacher will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification, such as QTS, PGCE or equivalent (ECTs will be considered)
• Experience teaching Humanities, History, Geography or a related subject at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Humanities and education
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons for students of varying abilities
• High expectations of students, alongside a supportive and encouraging approach
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the confidence to respond positively to new situations
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
• A commitment to promoting students’ academic progress, confidence and personal development
