Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Science Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity this September?

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in the Trafford area for a full-time Science Teacher to join their successful department from September. This is an exciting long-term role with full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.

The Role

• Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Assess, monitor and mark students’ work in accordance with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and scientific thinking.
• Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff to support student progress.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
• Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
