Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive secondary school in South Manchester seeking a QTS-qualified Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging Science lessons while playing a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Full-time, long-term position starting in September.
• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Mark and assess students’ work, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Monitor pupil progress and support achievement across all ability levels.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team to raise standards and outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of Science.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
