  • Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil wellbeing.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

About You

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience working with children or young people in education, childcare, youth work, sports coaching, care, mentoring, or a similar setting.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential. We also welcome applications from graduates and candidates with transferable skills.
