We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Stockport on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to make a real impact in the classroom.

The Role

• Full-time English Teacher
• September start
• Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities
• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of English
• Assess, monitor and support student progress
• Work collaboratively with a supportive English department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for raising achievement
• Committed to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Able to undertake the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including planning and marking
